Ordering

We are pleased to take orders via email at the present time. Send us a note with the book(s) you are interested in and the quantity of each that you desire. Cover price plus one dollar for shipping will apply. If you want to join our subscription list, please read the note below.

Subscriptions

Izquierda encourages readers to buy subscriptions for its current and upcoming titles. If you are interested, please send us an email. Subscriptions help us determine how many books to print, they provide much needed support of small press publishers, and they mean you're guaranteed to get a beautiful book in the mail.

Submissions Guidelines

We prefer poetry. We are looking for 10–25 page manuscripts, including title page and table of contents. We welcome translators from Canada or the USA who wish to send us their work, but you must have received permission from the author. Right now, we will accept manuscripts throughout the year, but be patient with us.

For all submissions please include:

– title page
– table of contents
– small bio. with publication history, etc.
– contact page, with full name, address, phone, email, etc.
– SASE

Please send everything in a large format envelope, and include another for return.

We do not accept email submissions or attachments.

Final note: we are interested in writers who are producing work of extremely high quality, who are using form and style in innovative ways, and who read internationally. This should not be your first publication.
